Cookiedoku

Privacy Policy · Effective September 21, 2026

Cookiedoku is made by Stephen Grandy. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not collect any.

What we collect

Nothing. Cookiedoku has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app does not send any information about you or your device to us or to anyone working for us.

What stays on your device

Your level progress, stars, cookie collection, race attempts and settings are saved on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center

Leaderboards, friends lists and timed race standings are provided by Apple's Game Center. If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and your Game Center nickname are sent to Apple and shown to other players on those leaderboards. That information is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us. Game Center is optional: the whole game can be played without it, and you can sign out at any time in Settings, then Game Center. If you allow it, the app asks Game Center for your friends list only to show which scores belong to your friends. We do not store or receive that list.

Versus matches (live games of two to four players) also run through Game Center. During a match, your Game Center nickname, the cookie and border you chose as your look, and your progress on the board (cookies found, mistakes, finish time) are sent directly to the other players' phones so the game can show who is winning. Nothing about a match is sent to us. A friends room code exists only on the phones of the players who use it.

Children

Cookiedoku does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before that version is released.
